International Quality Accreditation
Ever since it’s opening, Humanitas has adopted quality control systems based on the PDCA
approach (Plan Do Check Act), which summarises the virtuous circle of quality and makes it possible
to verify processes and outcomes in a continuous manner.
Istituto Clinico Humanitas has always compared itself with the best
European hospitals and has taken part in various benchmarking projects as a means of preparing
itself to meet the challenge of the opening of the European Health System.
It was this that led to the decision to certify the hospital’s
management model with the Joint Commission International.
