Alberto Lazzerini

 Dr. Alberto Lazzerini, (Milan, 1957)
qualified in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan in 1984, and completed his
Orthopaedic Specialisation in 1989. In 1986 he took up the post of Assistant in the Orthopaedic and
Traumatology Unit of the San Raffaele Hospital, in Milan, covering inpatient, outpatient, emergency
and operating theatre activities. He was promoted to Director in 1997. Over the period 1984 to
1999 he headed the Hand and Microsurgery Section of this same Orthopaedic Department, at San
Raffaele. In 1999 he moved, to set up the specialist Hand Surgery Unit in the Istituto Clinico
Humanitas and he has directed this Unit since that date. |
